SLIPKNOT/BIOHAZARD Guest Appearance With DJ ROB GEE Ends in Fistfight: Video Available
July 9, 2006A controversial appearance by SLIPKNOT and BIOHAZARD members during DJ Rob Gee's set at the Dutch techno festival Sensation Black Saturday (July 8) ended in fistfight between the DJ and a concertoer. According to the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, techno fans began booing the DJ before his set had even started. At around 2:00 p.m., Gee was about to launch into his '90s hit "Ecstasy - You Got What I Need" when an audience member climbed up on stage. Allegedly feeling threatened by the man, Rob Gee got into a fistfight with the concertoer before being separated by several stage hands who witnessed the altercation.
Commenting on the incident, Rob Gee said, "The guy came running at me and attacked me. I immediately thought of my friend and former PANTERA guitarist Dimebag Darrell. He got shot on stage."
